katie and clint / maleny retreat wedding film

“as a young man I never really thought about my wedding.

I always knew I wanted to get married but, that’s really as far as it went.

but standing here tonight all these years on in front of you guys, in front of our friends and family, and now being married to honestly…

the best woman I have ever met in my entire life.

I feel blessed. thank you”

katie and clint.

sarah and james / noosa wedding film

we’re all connected.

it’s been said many times before by people much wiser than me, but it’s true. peel the layers back and at our cores we’re all essentially the same.

sarah and james are both extraordinarily high achievers.

to hear him articulate so well about how surreal an experience it was to be in front of family + friends was something else.

weddings are one of the few life events where this sameness we all share is in plain sight. they’re the great equaliser, and it’s a beautiful thing.

jennifer and vaughan / sirromet winery

things don’t always go to plan.

how you imagined your wedding day and the reality of what mother nature provides are often two different things.

embrace it. it’s no big deal.

love the elements within your control, and let go of what you can’t.

often it’s better than you could have imagined.

this is the day your family becomes official.

savour every. precious. moment.
